Google Does Maps
http://maps.google.com

Google has just launched an extraordinary map service on its site. You can see a very sized map instead of the smaller ones from older map websites. The interface is fairly intuitive allowing you to drag the map with the cursor and use the slider bar to zoom-in and zoom-out. The map is very accurate and the associated search tools allow you to pinpoint points of interest. I was decided to find an old railroad station in a small Midwest town and retrace a railroad journey and was able to follow the rail with my cursor and bring back some memories of places from a time past. Try it and you'll soon find yourself playing with the tool going places and checking out your own neighborhood or places you've visited.

Windows Life-Cycle Policy
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/lifecycle/default.mspx

Ever wonder whether your Windows OS is out-of-date? You can go to this link to see whether your OS is still supported. For example, click on consumer desktop to see what programs are still supported and those for which support is no longer available. For example, "mainstream support" for Windows 2000 Professional ends on June 30, 2005. That means that non-security hotfix support will end then. Security hotfix support will continue another five years.
