Yahoo, Google Expand Mobile Web Offerings
Yahoo! has teamed with AT&T and Cingular in the U.S. and with Nokia and Motorola internationally to launch a new service called Yahoo! Go Mobile. This mobile application will run on certain Nokia phones and offer Yahoo! Messenger, Mail, Search, Photos, Address Book, and some content offerings via mobile devices. Google already has mobile search, image search, mobile web search, local search, sms, gmail mobile, and mappings. However, they have a new deal with Motorola whereby some new Motorola phones will ship with a Google icon pre-installed allowing users to access Google from their phones immediately.
