Vista - The MS Story

- WinFX: A managed code programming model building on the .NET Framework.
- Windows Presentation Foundation: Unification of how the user interface presents information allowing more visual and distinctive user experiences. This element was previously called Avalon.
- Windows Communication Foundation: A better Web services technology allowing developers to do more to provide interoperable applications. This element was previously called Indigo.
- Aero: New design philosophy that attempts to create a positive connection with users.
Although Microsoft has a lot of general information at its site, I wasn't able to readily find any screenshots or images of the new OS.
