American Legion on the ACLU

Speaking of the ACLU, there is an interesting article in the American Legion Magazine describing just how much money the ACLU is collecting in its litigation. The magazine states "The public general does not know the ACLU is profiting in such cases by millions of dollars in taxpayer-paid 'attorney fee awards' authorized under the Civil Rights Act, 42 U.S. Code Sec. 1988." The article (linked above) notes that the ACLU received more than 1.5 million in attorney fees in four cases alone.
